This Transfer of Ownership Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on

TERMS OF AGREEMENT
Transfer of Ownership: The Current Owner/Rescue Organization hereby transfers ownership of the above-described dog to the New Owner (Adopter) as of the date specified in this Agreement.
New Owner Responsibilities: The New Owner agrees to provide appropriate care, food, shelter, medical attention, and a safe, loving home for the dog.
No Further Claims: The Current Owner/Rescue Organization relinquishes all rights and claims to the dog upon signing this Agreement and shall not attempt to reclaim or demand return of the dog unless the New Owner violates the adoption terms.
Return Policy (If Applicable): If the New Owner can no longer care for the dog, they must notify the Rescue Organization and agree to return the dog rather than rehoming it without prior approval.
Health and Condition Disclosure: The Current Owner/Rescue Organization confirms that all known medical and behavioral history of the dog has been disclosed. The New Owner accepts the dog in its current health condition and assumes all future medical and care responsibilities.
Non-Transferability: The New Owner agrees that they will not transfer ownership of the dog to another person, shelter, or rescue organization without written consent from the Rescue Organization.
Liability Release: The Current Owner/Rescue Organization shall not be held responsible for any future injuries, illnesses, or damages caused by the dog after the transfer of ownership.
